Anyone have experience on bringing bow from US? I want to buy a bow and others accesories from US but don't know need any letter or approval from authorities on clearing custom.
What is the tax for doing so?

Thanks in advance.

As long as it is a bow not crossbow, you are free to bring it in. Maybe your member card to show that you are an archer. My $0.02.

I bought more then 10 bows from US thru mailing, never face any problem. I always show the bow and equipments to the custom officer during declaration. They have no reason to stop me.

No, they ll send you a note about collecting your package at post office. In the same time on collecting, they will past that package to custom officer. The custom guy will want to see what inside the box so just open and show him or maybe ask him if he would want to do some demo
