It is not uncommon bad artist blames his tools. For hobby Archers like me, to fiddle around with your bow is one way to have self satisfaction. One of it is to tune the bow......apart from polishing, waxing and deco.. like tuning your car engine and aligning the tyres merr. Everyone are equally wud like to dream of achieving 340 or higher score, I would be most happy to score 300 with well tune bow rather then shooting with "squacking, slapping" sound of bow and "twisted" arrow flights. I have seen some archers doing that, no doubt they shoot better then many but I strongly believe he/she don't enjoy the shoot so will not last long. Archery is about a "fine art" to me.
Thanks KH, what about vertical tuning? I think this is more difficult despite the tilling is perfect. What about arrow spine, does it have any effect on any of these dynamic tuning?

more over if an Archer exhausted of tuning his bow he will surely lay-off his bow.... other words the more you tune your bow more you would like to try and shoot and keep on shooting that is hobby all about.

tuning and training are some of the things that give us better score...but don't forget, diet.

I know that some don't shoot well after taking Milo...so, to know oneself is important...

so, the next time you shoot well, note what you ate for breakfast and what time you slept the night before.

Used to shoot very well after 4-5 bottles of beers the night before!

True...true...true....most archers only spend time shooting arrows as part of the training....they lack cardio activity...once under the hot sun and stress, the heart beat increases to a level that will affect their shooting.
